Would you like to bring these skills to a well-loved local charity?Then we have just the role for you!The Caring Kitchenis the catering service within the Hospice which also offers an external service to raise much needed funds to support the running of the Hospice and the care it provides. The Prince of Wales Hospice provides care to adults with life limiting illness, such as cancer, chronic heart or lung disease, helping people to live as well as possible with their illness and also cares for people at the end of their life.Joining our bank as Casual Event Catering Staff you will be offered shifts to cover at our catering events, with duties such as serving meals, drinks and setting up for and clearing up after the events. Flexibility is essential as these shifts will include working at different locations locally and on different days of the week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. However, this does offer the opportunity for a good work life balance, allowing you to accept shifts that work for you.We are looking for someone with:Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload. Good communication skills. As such you will not be an employee of the Hospice but we may call upon you to work for us to provide cover.
