Youll take full ownership of your own caseload, managing complex Court of Protection matters and meeting clear billing targets all with the support of a collaborative and experienced team behind you.Youll be working closely with vulnerable individuals, families, and external professionals, managing their affairs with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. This is a chance to make a real difference while building a career in a firm that rewards initiative and independence.Ideal for a Paralegal who is confident running their own files, looking to step away from micromanagement, and ready to thrive in a role that offers real trust and responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Managing your own Court of Protection caseload from start to finishMeeting agreed billing and time-recording targetsPreparing Deputyship and statutory applicationsLiaising directly with clients, attorneys, care providers, and familiesHandling day-to-day financial matters including budgeting, payments, and care feesConducting client visits where needed (a full UK driving licence and business insurance are required)Preparing reports and ensuring full compliance with OPG standardsRepresenting the department externally and contributing to its continued growthWhat Were Looking ForEssentialExperience running your own caseload in a fee-earning capacityStrong billing record and ability to meet performance targetsSolid understanding of Court of Protection or Private Client lawHigh levels of self-motivation, independence, and organisationCompassionate and confident when dealing with vulnerable clientsExcellent written and verbal communicationProficient with case management systems and ITDesirableLaw degree or equivalent legal qualificationFamiliarity with SOS Connect or similar CMSKnowledge of compliance and data protection best practicesWhy Join This Firm:This is a great time to join.
