At Pilgrim's Europe, we're on the hunt for a creative and driven NPD Technologist to join our dynamic New Product Development (NPD) and Process team. About the Role: As an NPD Technologist, you'll support the development of innovative, high-quality, and technically sound productsfrom concept to handover (Gates 03). Working closely with our chefs, senior technologists, and innovation managers, you'll be a core part of bringing new product ideas to life in our kitchens and into customers' hands. ?? Key Responsibilities: Support the development of exciting new and evolving existing products. Collaborate across NPD, Process, Commercial, and Insight teams. Create kitchen samples, attend customer submissions, and prepare compelling presentation materials. Ensure all products meet internal and retailer guidelines, cost targets, and technical standards. Source and assess new ingredients with an eye on trends, innovation, and quality. Monitor project critical paths and proactively resolve issues. Take an active role in culinary development, meat/butchery input, and quality benchmarking. ?? What We're Looking For: A passion for food and innovationyou're curious about new cuisines, processes, and culinary trends. Basic understanding of food manufacturing, development cycles, and technical requirements. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working hands-on in the kitchen, liaising with chefs, and preparing samples. Knowledge or interest in butchery and meat-based product development is a plus.
