Learn more at Job DescriptionOur Professional Services team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual desiring to play an integral part in the successful delivery of our leading Cloud Architected Accounting Rules Platform. This role is focuses on the following activities to support accurate and compliant financial reporting:Work closely with sales and client success teams to scope consulting solutionsEngage with clients to validate their requirements and to design, configure and test solutionsTranslate business event models into accounting rules in line with financial accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP) and internal controlsUtilise your experience and knowledge of business events and accounting concepts to help solve team and customer complex problems.Integrate solutions with customers ERP systems and other data sources/targetsEnhance, upgrade and support customers maintain their existing applicationsPlan, prepare and perform product trainingCoach partners and clients in the configuration of solutionsPrepare high quality documentationDeliver projects under tight and aggressive deadlinesOther tasks as required by leadershipQualificationsAccounting Certification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related fieldExperience in finance systems or ERP implementations with exposure to accounting rules engines (e.g. Oracle FAH, AHCS or similar)Strong understanding of accounting principles and subledger accountingExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsFamiliarity with data mapping, functional design and full SDLCKnowledge of SQL and data query toolsExperience of finance transformation projects in Insurance or Banking a distinct advantageEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.** At this time insightsoftware is not able to offer sponsorship to candidates who are not eligible to work in the country where the position is located. **insightsoftware About Us: Hear From Our Team - InsightSoftware ()Background checks are required for employment with insightsoftware, where permitted by country, state/province.At insightsoftware, we are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, national origin, gender, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital or parental status, disability, veteran status, or other class protected by applicable law.
