Chef de Partie Potentially moving to Junior Sous for the right candidate Location: London, E14 5HP Hours of work: 40 Working Pattern: Monday - Friday Contract Type: Permanent Hourly Rate: up to 16.42 We have an opportunity for someone who is looking to step up to a junior sous role potentially and take on a wider role and with a passion for food who is looking for a career that will provide fantastic development and support. Starting as a Chef de Partie with ISS UK, you will work alongside your team aiding the preparation food in our kitchens and helping to deliver a great service. Youll be joining a team working across two vibrant kitchen operations: Lombards serving high-end breakfast and lunch to investment bankers, with a strong focus on premium hospitality service. Enfields a fresh pasta-themed concept restaurant, also delivering breakfast and lunch with a more creative, contemporary menu. You be responsible for the preparation and service of food across different sections and kitchens, working alongside the service team to deliver an experience that is exciting, exceptional and inspirational at all times. You will be looking to learn new skills and work in an exciting and vibrant surrounding, eager to take the next step and run your own section. The Role Prepare delicious, high-quality food Assist with food preparation, cookery and service as directed Take care to deliver outstanding catering services in and out of the kitchen Support the seamless and effective delivery of the catering provision, maintaining the benchmark for global placemaking experience Keep to deadlines, with prompt service of meals Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site Work alongside other work streams, e.g. the Curated Experience team to deliver events and experiences Ensure that all company and client contracts are acted upon in the manner which best serves the company interests Maintain a happy and helpful manner and attitude throughout your working hours About You NVQ Level 2 (or in the process of completing) or equivalent cookery qualification Passionate about great-tasting food Advanced understanding of the principals of food hygiene Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships Have a desire to succeed in your role Deliver a high-quality service, with an attention for detail Both a supportive and helpful individual Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
