This opportunity is offered on a temp to perm basis, with employment provided through Taskmaster.Our client, a well-respected employee-owned business, is currently looking to add a reliable and proactive Labourer / Forklift Driver / Waste Coordinator to their team. This is a crucial support role covering both the machine shop and press shop, ensuring safe, clean, and efficient operations.This is initially a temporary role with a genuine opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate a forklift truck safely to load, unload, and transport materialsCarry out general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environmentSegregate and manage metal waste such as swarf, bar ends, and cut-offsLiaise with waste contractors to coordinate skip collections and replacementsAssist in managing minor spills and maintaining site waste complianceContribute positively to a safe and efficient team environmentWhat we require for you to be considered:Valid Forklift Truck Licence (essential)Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial settingKnowledge or certification in Health & Safety practices , particularly spill response, is highly desirableStrong organisation skills and ability to work with minimal supervisionA hands-on, proactive, and safety-first attitudeWhat our client can offer you:Genuine T emp-to-perm opportunityFixed working week Monday to Thursday (3 day weekend!)A key role in a supportive, employee-owned companyWeekly pay via Taskmaster on PAYEShifts: Monday-Thursday 08:00 16:00 | Enjoy a long weekend every weekend!Taskmaster Resources LTD acts as an employment business for the supply of contracts workers and an employment agency for permanent recruitment.TPBN1_UKTJ
