What Youll Be Doing You'll be the go-to person for all things electricalleading improvements, refining designs, and driving the development of our next generation of products. Key bits include: Design & Deliver: Produce clear, standards-compliant electrical schematics and documentation (AutoCAD Electrical preferred, but were not religious about it). Own the Process: Specify components, design for global markets, and take ownership from concept through to the shop floor. Collaborate & Innovate: Work alongside a friendly and clever team in R&D, manufacturing and productionyour ideas wont just be heard, theyll be built. Evolve & Improve: Play a pivotal role in enhancing reliability, safety and performance across our growing product range. What You Bring Were after someone who knows their wires and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. Youll likely tick most of these boxes: A Degree, HND or Level 5 qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar. Around 3+ years of hands-on experience in machinery or equipment-based electrical engineering roles. Fluent in electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical or similar) and knows their way around a control panel. Experience in wiring, testing and assembly. Good communicator with a methodical, problem-solving brain and a sense of ownership. Bonus Points If You Also Have Experience designing for international power specs (if youve ever had to ask, Is this the 60Hz or 50Hz region?, youre our kind of person). Familiarity with PLCs, control systems or configurable product design. A background in small-batch or configurable manufacturing.
