Our client, a leading provider of complete Mechanical and Electrical services in the construction industry, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join their dynamic team in Chichester. Operating for over 45 years, they have successfully delivered multiple large-scale projects across various sectors including Industrial, Logistics, Food, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Mining, Healthcare, Commercial, Hotel & Leisure, High-End Residential, Public, and Energy. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services Ensuring all relevant permits are in place Conducting inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues Liaising with main contractors and the client-based site team Ensuring on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE etc. Coordinating plant hire, tools, and labour on-site Managing and supervising labour and subcontractors Handling relevant external correspondence Ordering all day-to-day site materials Updating progress reports with appropriate information Maintaining the document management system Managing project-specific scheduling Communicating changes to the Project team Maintaining project quality reporting and monitoring Job Requirements: Relevant trade qualifications or further education qualification in mechanical building services Significant experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role Experience in people management Project Management experience is beneficial Proficiency in computer literacy with exceptional interpersonal skills Willingness to travel if/when required Benefits: Competitive salary Professional Development support Employee Assistance Program Health and Wellness programs Bike to work scheme If you are an experienced Mechanical Site Manager looking for a long-term opportunity to further your career, we would love to hear from you.
