We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Health & Safety, First Aid Trainer and Consultant to join the team at OJ Health and Safety.Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality First Aid and Health & Safety training, conducting on-site audits for new clients and actively supporting the growth of our training services.This is a client-facing role that combines technical expertise with a proactive and business development mindset.The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH qualification, have a strong background in construction, and bring proven training experience.A team-oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills are essential.Annual Salary : 25,000- 42,000 Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, compliant First Aid and Health & Safety training courses to a range of clients across various industries.Conduct Health & Safety audits for new clients, providing practical and actionable recommendations.Support the growth of the training division by identifying new business opportunities and promoting OJs training services.Work closely with the marketing team to develop training materials and maintain course relevance and quality.Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on Health & Safety and compliance matters.Maintain accurate records of training delivered, client audits and follow-up actions.Stay up to date with relevant legislation and best practice to ensure training content remains current.Represent OJ Health and Safety in a professional and personable manner at all times.Contribute to team meetings, planning sessions and company initiatives aimed at service improvement and business development.Essential Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification).Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH minimum).Proven training experience in First Aid and Health & Safety disciplines.Relevant construction-related qualification or demonstrable experience in the construction industry.Accredited Trainer (e.g.Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent).Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners of all levels.Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools used for training and reporting.Desirable: Experience delivering accredited courses such as IOSH, CITB, or Highfield.Additional Health & Safety qualifications (e.g.NEBOSH Construction, Fire Safety).Sales or business development experience within the training or consultancy sector.Membership of additional professional bodies (e.g.IIRSM, AIFireE).
