Design Build Search is seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis.Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.Our client has been serving the Irish retail sector for over 70 years.They have established a reputation for being the market leader in full turnkey retail installations.This position is best suited to an individual with a background in shopfitting.This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of experts, who offer a unique mix of traditional skills and cutting-edge technology.Responsibilities: Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to project manager Supervising construction workers subcontractors Ordering/booking in materials for each phase of the project Monitoring project progress Conducting quality and safety inspections Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings Maintaining quality control checks Motivating the workforce Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise Requirements: Computer literate and able to use email, excel, MS project etc.Knowledge of building, construction and retail Excellent time management and leadership skills Good communication skills Good initiative and logical thinking skills.
