This senior role involves managing both directly employed labour and subcontractors, developing contract management strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.Key Responsibilities:Manage numerous projects from pre-construction to completionOversee directly employed labour and subcontractors to ensure timely, budget-compliant project deliveryUse Microsoft Project to create and maintain work programmes and project plansDevelop and implement effective contract management strategies and processesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholdersReport directly to the Operations Director based at Head OfficeCollaborate closely with Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on budgets and time allowancesLead a team including two Contracts Managers and approximately 10 operativesCandidate Requirements:Minimum 10 years experience in groundworks contract management (essential)Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificationCurrent First Aid at Work qualificationValid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cardStrong commercial acumen with proven ability to manage multi-project contractsExperience using Microsoft Project for scheduling and planningExcellent leadership and stakeholder management skillsRelevant construction-related qualifications desirablePackage:Competitive salary 60,000 - 70,000, dependent on experienceCompany vehicle providedOpportunity to lead a skilled team within a dynamic and growing businessIf you are a motivated Senior Contracts Manager with the necessary groundworks experience and the required certifications, and want to join a company with a strong reputation for quality and growth, please apply now by sending your CV to harvey.baker@walkerandsloan.com.
