You will ensure all electrical and mechanical installations are delivered in line with client quality expectations, regulatory compliance, and commissioning readiness.This is a senior position requiring 10+ years experience in a similar role, ideally with a background in Life Sciences or Data Centre projects.Key Responsibilities:Take full responsibility for quality assurance and quality control processes across the full MEP scope on-siteDevelop and implement QA/QC plans, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and checklists tailored to project specifications and client standardsWork closely with project teams, consultants, and client representatives to ensure installations meet all contractual and regulatory quality benchmarksLead and coordinate all MEP commissioning activities, ensuring systems are tested, validated, and documented in line with industry best practiceLiaise with package leads and subcontractors to track inspection progress and ensure timely resolution of quality-related issuesManage punch lists / snagging processes, ensuring all non-conformances are logged, tracked, and closed out effectivelyCarry out regular site inspections and audits, ensuring works are executed as per approved drawings and method statementsCollaborate with the project planner and commissioning manager to ensure QA/QC activities are aligned with commissioning schedulesSupport handover documentation compilation including O&M manuals, test certs, commissioning reports, and quality filesReport regularly to senior management and the client on QA progress, risks, and mitigation strategiesChampion a culture of right first time and continuous improvement across the site teamCandidate Requirements:Minimum 10 years' experience in a QA/QC or commissioning role within the MEP construction industryProven experience on Life Sciences, Cleanroom, or Data Centre projects is highly desirableIn-depth understanding of QA/QC protocols, commissioning processes, and ISO or GMP compliance frameworksStrong communication and reporting skills; capable of liaising with all levels of site and client stakeholdersFamiliar with QA documentation systems, test packs, commissioning tracking tools, and digital quality platformsAbility to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-spec environmentRelevant technical background either trade, engineering degree, or quality certification (e.g. ISO Lead Auditor, CQI, etc.)
