You'll drive formulation strategy across high-performance sealants, coatings, and adhesives, and lead the UK R&D team in turning ideas into impactful products.Key Responsibilities:Lead the UK R&D team and oversee formulation development for sealants, coatings, adhesives, and specialty materials.Drive innovation from lab-scale to plant-scale: research, develop, and optimize new and existing formulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, supply chain, and marketing.Support raw material selection, supplier interaction, and quality assurance.Deliver technical leadership, mentor junior scientists, and contribute to strategic product development.What We're Looking For:A degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MSc/PhD a plus).Experience in R&D within the sealants, coatings, or polymer-based materials industry.Exposure to silicone, STPE, epoxy, or hot-melt technologies is highly desirable.Strong project leadership, lab-to-line scale-up capability, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on innovation, product performance, and sustainability within a global technical community.
