Are you an experienced Senior Qs?The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Proven background in housing development?Do you live within a commutable distance of Exeter?Joining a successful developer in Exeter with a huge land bank and several new sites due to start this year!Seeking a knowledgeable and proven senior surveyor or highly experienced surveyor (ready to step up). Reporting to the Commercial Director whilst overseeing 2 or 3 projects depending on size, both commutable from the office.You will take full commercial responsibility for the sites including - subcontractor management, financial reporting, cost control, variations and payment recommendations, valuations, identifying risk, CVR reporting and final account etc.Applicants should possess the following experience and attributes:A housing development backgroundStrong commercial awarenessGood knowledge of building regsExperience of undertaking CVRsIdeally you will have used COINS or similarAccustomed to running your own scheme/sIdeally qualified to degree or HNC level in Construction or Quantity Surveying or working towardsExcellent communication skillsStrong negotiation skillsFully IT literateStrong reporting skillsA team playerOrganisedIn return the company can offer a highly competitive salary DOE plus full package and excellent benefits.
