This is a key role supporting nuclear decommissioning and strategic waste management, based in Warrington with flexible hybrid working options.The RoleAs a Principal Waste Consultant, youll lead high-impact technical projects that contribute to the UKs nuclear future. Youll manage teams, guide technical delivery, and engage with stakeholders to provide safe, innovative, and high-quality waste management solutions.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialist advice and lead delivery across nuclear waste and decommissioning projectsBuild and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholdersSupport strategic bids and contribute to business developmentSupervise and mentor technical staff, with line management responsibilitiesEnsure compliance with environmental permitting, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectationsEssential Experience:Significant experience in nuclear waste management and strategic deliveryStrong background in leading technical teams and mentoring staffProven success in delivering decommissioning, disposability, or integrated waste strategy projectsDegree (or equivalent) in a relevant science or engineering disciplineCandidates must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance
