With a presence in the UK and US, they have received recent investment from VCs and are looking to hire their first Finance Director.The Founder is looking for a Part Time, Finance Director who can play a critical role in owning finance, shaping the strategy and partnering with the CEO and Leadership team. The business operates remotely, with a monthly meeting in Exeter (or you could be based in the office in Exeter on a hybrid basis.)What experiences you will gainReporting to the Founder and partnering with the Heads of DepartmentsManaging all financial activities including transactional accounting, cashflow management, management accounts and financial reportingResponsible for the monthly management reporting including key SaaS metrics and budgeting and forecastingProducing financial analysis to support strategic decision making and investment opportunities and continually improving the financial modelsManaging the board reporting and Investor relations and supporting the fundraising process, working closely with the CEO and investorsProviding financial leadership across the business, presenting, and communicating critical financial matters when requiredIntroducing accurate and controlled systems and processes, focusing on scalability and efficiencyIdentifying and analysing market opportunities for business growth and supporting with the leadership team with key strategic decisionsManaging the outsourced accounts team and as the company scales, building a high performing finance team in houseWhat background should you have before you press apply!Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Experience within a SaaS start up and experienced the journey from Seed to Series ASuccessful track record operating, partnering with and influencing board level stakeholdersHighly analytical, with excellent financial modelling skills, strategic and a great communicatorExcited to join a growing company with an entrepreneurial culture, rolling your sleeves up with a productive mindset
