The main purpose of the role will be to support with daily deliveries to new and existing customers across the business.The Details:Shift Pattern: Sunday-Thursday NightsSalary: 15.00 Per HourStart & Finish Times: 18:00-06:00Hours: 58 Per WeekMonthly PayHoliday Entitlement: 28 Days Per AnnumParking onsiteShunting Duties:Supporting the depot by loading & unloading onsite trailersTo carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks prior to commencement of shift complying with appropriate documentation and proceduresEnsure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positionedCorrectly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperworkCorrectly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurateOperate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road usersUndertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customerRatchet, Strap & corner management dutiesHGV Driver Requirements:A full UK C+E licence (essential)Excellent driving skillsNo more than 6 points on your licenceNo previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)Right To Work in the UKGood knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulationsBenefitsPension SchemeEmployee Assistance ProgramINCLUSION:Menzies Distribution Solutions is committed to creating a fair and inclusive environment where employees feel safe, proud and valued.
