About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Night Porter in Front Office to join our team at Jumeirah Lowndes. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are: Attend briefings and meetings as requested. To ensure that all guest requests, requirements and complaints are attended to promptly and acted in the correct manner. To have a thorough and up-to-date knowledge about the activities in and around town and to establish business contacts forfollowup on guest requests. To comply with the requirements of the Executive Offices delivery of documents and messages. To monitor the telephone message printer and ensure that messages are distributed every 20 minutes. To be aware of all hotel facilities and the layout of the hotel. About you: The ideal candidate will have the following: Is fully aware of his/ her work schedule and ensures adequate notice is given with circumstances when he/ sheisprevented from adhering to the schedule. Reports any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons or safety hazards immediately. Ensure strict control is adhered to when receiving and returning keys and whilst in his/ her possession. To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform / attire, name badge, maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards. To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
