Technical Team Manager 48,000 GBP Bonus Hybrid WORKING Location: United Kingdom (Greater London) Type: Permanent Technical Team Manager Bracknell (on-site| Permanent | Up to 48,000 + bonus & benefits | No on-call | SC clearance required to start Join a leading organisation in a pivotal IT management role . This is a manager-first position focused on performance, people, workflow, and stakeholder engagement - not hands-on engineering. If you have a strong understanding of infrastructure and networking, experience leading technical teams, and enjoy improving service delivery, we want to hear from you. What you'll bring: Proven experience managing technical teams (5+ people), including: Performance reviews, absence management, workflow assignment, and reporting Strong knowledge of: Microsoft/Windows stack - Windows Server, OS, Active Directory, Exchange Networking - Cisco / Juniper devices VMWare and Microsoft Service Centre products Confidence generating and presenting performance reports to senior leadership Experience working closely with software support or software delivery teams People-first mindset - skilled at engaging across junior staff, customers, and senior stakeholders Familiarity with ITIL principles (certification a bonus - support available if not yet certified) Bonus points for: Linux knowledge Recruitment involvement Experience within defence, MSP, telecoms, fintech, utilities or similar sectors What's on offer: Up to 48,000 base salary Bonus Holiday Excellent benefits: healthcare, life assurance etc No on-call requirements Family-friendly flexibility (e.g. school runs, childcare) ITIL training provided if needed Ongoing career development & progression opportunities If you're a Senior Engineer, Team Lead , or existing Manager with experience in IT service leadership, this could be the next step in your career.
