You will support the Senior Designer and Business Owner across in-store, phone, and online channels - from giving style advice and managing bespoke orders to updating displays and assisting with social media. A flair for design, strong people skills, and attention to detail are key. CAD skills are a bonus, not a must.What we valueIntegrity: We act with honesty, transparency and mutual respect.Consistency: Everyone gets the same clear and timely communication.Ownership: We take pride in our work and ensure every customer interaction is a positive one.Key Responsibilities but not limited to:-Interior Design & Creative SupportAssist in developing design concepts and bespoke schemes for customersOffer in-store advice on wallpaper, paint, fabrics, and stylingSupport the maintenance and refresh of shop displays and window dressingCollaborate with the Senior Designer to handle custom orders and queriesEdit product imagery (e.g. in Photoshop) and contribute to website content updatesCustomer Service & SalesDeliver a welcoming, knowledgeable service in person and by phoneManage customer orders and liaise with suppliers where neededKeep pricing and signage up to date across the shop floor and windowsEnsure the shop is well-stocked, tidy, and visually appealingParticipate in Shop-Watch and help maintain a secure environmentWarehouse & Fulfilment SupportAssist with packing and order fulfilment during busy periods or staff absenceContribute ideas to improve efficiency and workflow where relevantSocial Media & MarketingHelp create, post, and manage engaging content across social channelsSupport efforts to grow audience engagement and reachGeneral HousekeepingShare responsibility for maintaining a clean and tidy shop and staff roomEducation, Skills & ExperienceGCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4 or above)A warm, approachable personality and excellent communication skillsA creative eye and an interest in interiors and designThe ability to work well both independently and as part of a close-knit teamResilience, flexibility, and a can-do attitudeCAD and Adobe Photoshop skills are desirable but not essentialCompetence with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plusInterested?
