CLASS 1 DRIVER SHIFTS AND START TIMES TO SUITE 16.50 PER HOUR MONDAY TO FRIDAY DAYS 06:00-18:00 17.50 PER HOUR MONDAY TO FRIDAY NIGHTS 18:00-06:00 18.75 SATURDAYS ALL DAY 20.00 SUNDAYS ALL DAY People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in ASTON, WEST MIDLANDS. Benefits As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to: RDC or customer deliveries which may include self tip for particular RDC'S Operating and driving various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed Completing any paperwork Essential Skills As a Class 1 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience conducting multi drop deliveries will be beneficial Training Paid induction to be completed and ongoing support throughout Contact This client values its workers and provides an excellent work environment If you are looking for high-paying, reliable work, click below to apply today or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process TPBN1_UKTJ
