The company are a market leader in the Manufacturing, supply and installation of customised windows and Doors across the UK and Europe. Your new role As Design Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the full lifecycle of design projectsfrom initial concept through to final delivery. You will lead a skilled team, ensuring all outputs meet client expectations, industry standards, and project timelines. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing design projects to ensure timely and on-budget delivery Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective design solutions. This would include external architects, Civil and Structural Designers, M&E Designers, NHBC, building control and insurance providers to name but a few Attend and lead design team meetings Providing leadership, mentorship, and support to junior design staff Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in a Design Manager role within the Property & Construction sector Strong leadership and project management capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Understanding of Cad and preferably Revit although Revit is not essential Understand and interpret drawings - this may suit an individual from an Architectural, Civil & Structural or M&E background who would like to progress to manage projects end- to- end Previous contract administration experience would be an advantage What's on offer This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where your expertise will be valued and your career supported.
