Due to business growth we have a new vacancy for an experienced EIA Consultant.The EIA Team provide high quality support to a range of development types, including residential development, retail, storage and distribution, renewable energy, waste facilities, utilities and minerals.Our EIA Co-ordinators are experts in their field and oversee and manage EIAs from a scheme’s conception to the post submission phase. Wardell Armstrong is also a registrant of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) EIA Quality Mark, demonstrating our commitment to excellence in our EIA services.The roleWorking as part of our Birmingham-based Environment and Planning team , you will be involved in the screening, scoping and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments, working with internal and external specialists and environmental stakeholders. In addition, you will be involved in the preparation and delivery of planning applications for a wide variety of infrastructure and development projects. You will be prepared to be flexible and contribute to the work streams of multiple teams. You will also have a good knowledge of the UK planning system, the EIA Regulations, and experience of coordinating environmental assessments.
