Engineering ManagerMake sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Norfolk60,000 to 65,000 per annumStaffing Innovations is currently working with a highly reputable manufacturer based within Norfolk area who are growing rapidly.Managing the close knit engineering team, you will be responsible for the full engineering function within the business. Theideal candidate will be an electrically qualified Engineering Manager or Engineering Supervisor who has worked within the manufacturing industry, more specifically working within industries such as Food and FMCG.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager with a strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering who has experience of managing a growing team, supporting engineers on technical issues and being hands on when needed, hence a good fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering is key.Managing a successful team:Planned maintenance of Manufacturing machinery, including machine and services safety systemsProvide effective reactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of the production and utility equipment and systems.Effective fault finding and problem-solving.PPM MaintenanceIdentification and sourcing of replacement parts and work to ensure the most cost effective option.Working with other departments to ensure the business priorities are met.Correct use of tools and adequate use of the personal protection equipment provided and to adhere to all occupational health & safety instructions given by the businessThe successful Engineering Manager must have:Health and Safety awareness and formal training in functional legislationMechanical qualification at approved and certified national competence levelElectrical qualification (HNC/HND preferred).Experience of Electrical and Mechanical maintenance in manufacturing operations.Process knowledge of FMCG manufacturing advantageous.Continuous improvement techniques and project management.Ability to train others.Proactive in fault finding mechanical (including hydraulic and pneumatic systems) and electricalBusiness Improvement TechniquesIf you are an experienced Engineering Manager in and looking for an exciting role for a forward thinking manufacturing company then please send a full CV in word to Claire @ Staffing Innovations.TPBN1_UKTJ
