MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER BURY ROTATING DAYS (05:45-13:15/10:00-18:00) UP TO 42,000 We are looking for a motivated maintenance engineer to join a market leading food manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company. Role Description Have the ability & experience of fully servicing manufacturing plant machinery & equipment. Maintain the physical plant, all electrical and mechanical equipment both in the production environment and general site maintenance. Mechanical skills - hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, bearings and chains. Electrical skills - 3 phase motors, relays and contactors, motor drives. Proven experience of planning 'scheduling preventative/predictive maintenance. Good knowledge of food industry machinery i.e. production/packing lines, thermo-formers, MAP packing machinery, portion controlled fillers, steamers, clippers, slicing machines.
