Mechanical Craftsperson Roll Stand RefurbishmentAre you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.East Midlands, EnglandCompetitive SalaryShift PatternLHH is working with a leading steel producer to recruit a Mechanical Craftsperson for their Roll Stand Refurbishment Team.In this hands-on role, youll strip down, inspect, and rebuild roll stands, working from technical drawings to repair or replace parts. The environment is physically demanding, with grease, scale, and dust part of daily operations. Youll use specialist tools, including induction heaters and presses, and occasionally support other teams with maintenance and moving equipment.Youll work on a 4-week rotating day-shift pattern, including three weekends out of every four, with rest days during the week.Were seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a time-served apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. You must have experience fitting bearings and gears, strong awareness of COSHH regulations, and a commitment to safe working practices.
