Personality Were on the lookout for a detail-driven and commercially minded Estimator who knows their way around construction projects. If youre someone who thrives on accuracy, takes pride in producing clear, competitive tenders, and enjoys working closely with project teams, this could be the perfect next step. Youll be confident working with drawings, specs, and subcontractor quotes, and have a sharp eye for identifying risks and opportunities within a bid. Reward 22 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays Pension Scheme Private Health Care Free Parking Car Allowance Working Hours Monday Friday 8:30am 5pm Company Laptop and Mobile Phone Job Role: Projects range from 250k to 4m Ensuring all deliverables are completed within required timescales Building up all costs for the works, including: Prelims, Temporary works, Designing requirements for Design & Build (D&B) tenders Preparing and sending out subcontract and material enquiries Liaising with supply chain during the estimating process Liaising with our design and operations teams to determine the tender strategy Producing bills of quantities at tender stage where required Managing the estimating schedule Liaising with clients throughout the estimating process Carrying out estimating site surveys Chairing tender kick-off meetings and tender adjudication meetings Skills and experience: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings Experience in construction estimating Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in relevant estimating software Attention to detail and accuracy Please Note: We do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
