My client is a world-renowned packaging company and a leading provider within the corrugated packaging sector in the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team at their flagship site. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the site's engineering strategy, lead CI projects, and support the ongoing investment in new machinery and automation Engineering Manager Moulton Way 60,000 70,000 Our client is offering a competitive salary with 6% private pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 24/7 support, Life Insurance, free on-site canteen, Responsibilities include: Overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities on-site Leading and developing a skilled team of engineers and technicians across shifts Managing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules Ensuring maximum uptime of production machinery including Casemakers, Die Cutters, Printers, and Gluers Negotiate service contracts. Manage the departmental budget and look at cost saving opportunities Driving continuous improvement projects and supporting CAPEX investments Collaborating with production, quality, and safety teams to meet operational goals Ensuring full compliance with H&S, regulatory standards, and company procedures Essential: Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Lead Engineer role Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment Understanding of packaging/food machinery or similar high-speed production equipment Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or above ideally HND.
