CNC Operator Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing Location: Cambridgeshire Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday - Friday days. Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience ISQ Recruitment is working with a leading precision engineering company in the Cambridgeshire area, currently looking to add a CNC Operator to their team. This is a hands-on role operating a range of CNC machines, producing high-quality components in a clean, well-organised environment. Ideal for someone confident with CNC operation and keen to work with tight tolerances and modern technology. The Role: Load, run and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components Carry out checks using measurement tools and inspection equipment Work to tight tolerances and maintain high attention to detail Unload and finish components where required Assist programmers with first-off and prove-out work Follow safe working practices and maintain a clean environment (5S) Perform weekly machine maintenance Support process improvements across CNC operations What We're Looking For: CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of Fanuc-based vertical milling centres Confident reading basic engineering drawings and using inspection tools Comfortable working to micron-level precision Experience with 5-axis or wire EDM is a bonus, but not essential Positive attitude, team-oriented, and detail-focused Why Apply?
