This is a key role involving the preparation of accurate estimates and CAD designs for custom fabrication projects, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to production. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate cost estimates and quotations for fabrication projects. Interpret technical drawings and customer specifications to assess materials, labour, and production requirements. Prepare and update CAD drawings using industry-standard software. Collaborate with production and sales teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with client expectations. Liaise with suppliers regarding material costs and lead times. Maintain and update estimation databases and project documentation. Provide technical support during project execution as needed. Requirements Proven experience in estimation and CAD design within fabrication or manufacturing. Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials, and techniques. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and organisational abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
