Role: Senior Quality Inspector Client: BAE Systems Hourly Rate: 41.69 UMBRELLA (INSIDE IR35) Duration: 12 months, 37 hrs per week Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (Onsite) Clearance: BPSS + SC About the role: You will play a critical part in ensuring that all inspection and quality activities meet the rigorous standards required for naval submarine programmes. This is an excellent chance to work within a highly skilled team supporting one of the UK's most complex and prestigious engineering projects. Key responsibilities: Perform detailed inspections on mechanical and structural components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Support non-conformance investigations and provide technical guidance on quality issues. Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidate: Extensive experience in quality inspection within a heavy engineering, defence, or marine environment. Strong understanding of relevant standards and inspection techniques.
