This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy and collaborative payroll team supporting a multi-site operation. You'll be processing weekly payrolls from start to finish, working with multiple national agreements and ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end processing of a weekly payroll across multiple sites Setting up and processing new starters and leavers, including termination payments Calculating and paying statutory entitlements (SMP, SPP, SSP) and occupational sick pay Ensuring payroll is processed in line with various National Agreements Managing payroll queries in a prompt and professional manner Producing payroll reports for other departments across the business Liaising with internal teams and external bodies such as HMRC and pension providers Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with current payroll and pension legislation What you'll need: Minimum of 2 years' payroll experience in a multi-site, multi-contract environment Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Up-to-date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation Experience working with HMRC and other third-party bodies A recognised CIPP payroll qualification would be an advantage but is not essential This is a great role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely payroll services.
