Business Design Consultant Business Area: AXA health Location: Glasgow, Bristol OR Tunbridge Wells 3 days per week at one of these offices About the role: To drive impactful business design solutions and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to shape innovative operating models and create sustainable strategies for our organisation's growth and success. Key accountabilities & responsibilities Business Design Leadership: Provide strategic direction and thought leadership in business design initiatives. Lead projects from inception to delivery, guiding junior team members and fostering a culture of design excellence. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their unique challenges, goals, and requirements. Develop deep insights into their needs and collaborate to deliver tailored and effective business design solutions. Complex Problem-Solving: Tackle complex business challenges by applying a blend of analytical thinking, design methodologies, and industry knowledge. Provide innovative and data-driven solutions to enhance business processes and customer experiences. Operating Model Innovation : Drive innovation in operating models to optimise the business and stay ahead of industry trends and disruptions. Explore opportunities for diversification, growth, and market expansion. Team MentorshipDevelopment : Mentor junior team membersMentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth. Encourage continuous learning and skill development within the team. Industry Thought Leadership: Stay updated on emerging trends, industry best practices, and design methodologies. Share knowledge and insights within the team and contribute to thought leadership initiatives. Specialist skills & experience Proven experience as a business design consultant or in a similar strategic role. Experience in conducting Operating Model analysis and redesign projects. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Evidenced ability to bring your design through from concept to delivery, ensuring our strategy is delivered into real life ways of working Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. Demonstrated expertise in business model innovation and optimisation. Proficiency in relevant design tools and software used in business design and analysis. A continuous learning mindset, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Ability to thrive in a fast paced and collaborative work environment.
