Business Partnership Manager Location: Bristol Salary: 35,000-38,000 FTE depending on experience (28,000-30,400 actual salary for 0.8 of full time) Hours : 28 hours per week Contract : Part time - 0.8, initial contract for 2 years. The organisation is an independent charity that exists to tackle inequality of opportunity for young people in the West of England region. They do this by utilising the skills and commitment of business volunteers to deliver a variety of programmes for young people aged 7-25. They work to support those who are under-served, under-estimated, disengaged and lack social collateral. The Role They are looking for a confident and motivated person to take control of all aspects of their Business Partnership management. Their business partners are integral to everything they do at the organisation, they provide them with income, a pool of volunteers to support the delivery of their programmes and networks they can tap into to engage more people to join their community. The successful candidate will be confident engaging with existing partners, potential new business partners and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Business development & Income generation To grow the existing business partnership pool by engaging with new businesses and bringing them on board, growing sustainable income streams. Proactively seek opportunities to interact with the business community. Work with the CEO to develop new offers' for business engagement. Look for opportunities for expanding their corporate funding/fundraising, for example charity of the year opportunities and any private funds a business has. Support fundraising manager with relevant information/to draft compelling funding applications and provide any necessary information for reporting. Relationship management Manage, nurture and maintain relationships with existing business partners Organise and deliver events for partners. Programme coordination Work closely with SPM to ensure smooth running of programmes for businesses. Ensure timely delivery of impact reports to business partners. Volunteer engagement Provide induction and training for new volunteers, working alongside the Schools Partnership Manager. Support and nurture their volunteer pool, ensuring volunteer experience aligns with business expectations and programme outcomes. Networking and promoting the work of the charity Represent Ablaze at business networking events to meet and engage new people and actively promote Ablaze's work and impact to potential partners and stakeholders. Administration & reporting Maintain accurate records of partners, contacts and funding opportunities. Track, evaluate and report on business partnership activities and outcomes. Support the Fundraising Manager with information for funding applications and reports.
