Technical Manager 48,000 GBP Onsite WORKING Location: Bracknell, Central London, Greater London - United Kingdom Type: Permanent Technical Manager Location - Bracknell Salary - Up to 48,000 Clearance - Active SC Clearance is required for this role On-site Requirements - 5 days per week The Opportunity: We're looking for a Technical Manager to join our on-site team in Bracknell. This is a key leadership role managing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Line Support Technicians, ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers across the UK. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong IT support background and a passion for coaching others. You'll be empowered to shape processes, influence service improvements, and expand your own technical and leadership expertise. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the Service Desk, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents and requests. Define and track SLAs and KPIs to uphold high-quality support standards. Develop clear documentation and processes to enhance team efficiency. Design automation workflows to streamline service delivery using tools like Microsoft SCSM. Oversee team performance, recruitment, and staff development activities. Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and manage escalations. Participate in Change and Release Management processes and act as a CAB member. Monitor patch management, software deployments, and reporting using SCOM, SQL, ePo, and Excel.
