Who You Are You are an experienced and skilled Child Protection Advisor required for a contract of around 9 months. You hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent and are registered with Social Work England. You have significant experience in child protection, safeguarding, and care planning, with the proven ability to chair complex multi-agency meetings. You are committed to promoting the rights and welfare of children, with a strong understanding of legislation and best practices in safeguarding. What the Job Involves This role requires integrating the responsibilities of safeguarding children at risk of harm with independent oversight of care planning for children in care. You will chair Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met and robust safeguarding practices are in place. You will facilitate multi-agency meetings, mediate conflicts, and lead on service development to ensure positive outcomes for children and families. Additionally, you will support professional development, contribute to training initiatives, and promote the child''s voice in all decision-making.
