General Operative Knaresborough, 12.21 p/hr, immediate start available This well established engineering and manufacturing company in the Knaresborough area are seeking a General Operative to assist in the workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in metal working. The role will initially be temporary, however this could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. The role: Working across a variety of departments such as painting, powder coating, machine operating and spot welding Handling and packing of materials and finished goods Undertaking basic quality inspection of finished parts Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment Learning different processes and machinery within the business The Person will: Have strong attention to detail to ensure high quality Be willing to learn and develop with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic Any previous experience within engineering or manufacturing would be of great interest We are keen to hear from people who have a genuine interest in fabrication Must be immediately available and happy to work on a temporary to permanent basis Hours of work: 7am-3.30pm, Monday - Friday 28 days holiday Travail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
