The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. Hours: Across Monday to Saturday (drivers must have weekend availability), start times between 14:00pm - 16:00pm Pay Rate: 14.11 Location: Lutterworth, LE17 Job Type : Ongoing with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate The role: Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots. and delivery unit (collections and deliveries) Emphasizing safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation. Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck. Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
