Job overviewWe are looking for a well motivated individual keen to utilise their podiatry skills to deliver treatment with outcome focused care to our patient caseload Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals trust Foot Health department Provides a diverse range of specialist Podiatry interventions to our resident population through our network of Community and Acute Podiatry and specialist clinics We have a wide range of clinical specialisms that we offer to the local population including MSK Podiatry and sub specialisms including rheumatology, pediatrics' and neurology. You will get the opportunity to rotate into all of these specialisms as part of our departmental rotations and your overall development will be supported by the Trusts preceptorship program. SWBH Trust is an integrated care trust and as such are able to offer a diverse range of Specialist Podiatry clinics and pathways to support our diverse caseload, providing opportunities to develop your career ambitions . We support development with Quality focused protected monthly half days , regular 121 ,supervision , Department wide training opportunities , a support and mentoring for program, personal development reviews and training plans to support your role and development. Main duties of the jobThis role will be responsible for providing autonomous quality podiatry assessment and treatment, for a wide range of patients who may be at risk with systemic chronic or acute medical and social needs at specific clinics and locations within a pan Trust setting using recognized techniques ,clinical reasoning and standards in which the podiatrist is qualified. A successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and be able to develop meaningful collaborative relationships with patients, peers and colleagues, You will be able to plan and manage your own workload flexibly and be able to measure and demonstrate the effectiveness of your activities and interventions. Due to the pan Trust nature of this role the successful candidate will need to be able to meet the transportation requirements of this post.
