Junior Kitchen Manager Jobs in Bognor Regis About The RoleWe’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin’s Buffet Department based in Bognor Regis.Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 40. Your focus will be on guest satisfaction, operational decisions, resource planning, recruitment, and team development to ensure excellent service.You will monitor and improve the guest experience, manage food cost budgets through menu planning and standards, and ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety legislation and company policies.You will serve as a role model for Butlin’s work culture, ensuring training and performance development plans are in place, inspiring your team to deliver memorable guest experiences. In this role, you'll lead and develop skills in our main buffet restaurant, serving guests on a half-board dining package.About YouWe seek individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to advance in their culinary career. You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in finding ways to improve team performance.Ideal candidates are energetic, enthusiastic, fun-loving, and committed to guest satisfaction by empowering their team. You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.You will also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.Our chefs are special, and our guests love returning to our restaurants. The successful candidate will be fun, team-oriented, and dedicated to ensuring guests have a great time during their holiday.Working HoursTypically, working five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
