Senior Quantity Surveyor - ManufacturingA Co. Antrim based Fitout company has a new opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join within the manufacturing division. This role is based on-site full-time, with no travel outside of NI expected. Responsibilities include managing and directing the quantity surveying function for the factory to achieve commercial targets. Key duties are: Receiving successful tender documents from the Commercial Department Scrutinising cost breakdowns for each manufacturing item required Preparing project budgets for the joinery workshop Valuing and agreeing on the cost of variations Preparing monthly reports on cost, value, and reconciliation for each project Estimating build-up costs for each work element, including labour and materials, sourcing and obtaining quotations as needed Liaising with purchasing for specialist providers Attending internal hand-over meetings Providing feedback to the Commercial Department regarding tender values versus actual costs Undertaking other duties within the individual's knowledge, experience, or competency Candidates should be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years of experience in contracting or PQS environments.
