Toolmaker Redditch Permanent Day shift , early finish on Friday Are you a skilled and experienced Toolmaker? The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, and repair of tooling and dies to precise engineering drawings within tight tolerances. Working for a leading global manufacturer of precision-forged and machined components. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility producing high-performance tooling for the aerospace and automotive industries. Key Responsibilities: Manufacture extrusion, mould, and finish dies from raw materials. Produce single-stage clip tools. Operate manual and CNC machinery including: Manual milling and turning / Surface grinding / 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling (Heidenhain and WinMax controls) Perform manual compensation and bench work. Polish tools to 320-grain finish. Carry out PPM servicing and repair of tooling. Respond to and resolve tooling breakdowns. Requirements: Toolmaker apprenticeship or minimum 5 years' experience in a toolroom environment. Experience setting and operating CNC machinery. Ideally experienced in heavy manufacturing, preferably aerospace or automotive sectors. Solid understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools.
