PSV Technician Grantham Location: Grantham Hours: MondayThursday 08:0016:30, Friday 08:0015:30 (39 hours/week) Estimated Salary: Up to 38,000 per annum Base + Overtime allowance. Experienced PSV Technician Wanted Stable Hours, Local Work A busy and well-equipped depot in Grantham is looking for a skilled PSV Technician to join the team. This is a hands-on role maintaining and repairing a fleet of minibuses and cars used for essential passenger services across the local area. Youll carry out a mix of scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and responsive repairs to ensure all vehicles remain roadworthy, reliable, and safe. Key Responsibilities Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on PSV and other fleet vehicles Diagnose and repair faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment Respond to breakdowns or repair needs both at the depot and, on occasion, at other local sites Maintain workshop equipment and report any issues or defects promptly Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and compliance standards What Youll Need NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance or a strong track record in PSV repairs Previous experience working on passenger service vehicles or similar commercial fleets Full UK driving licence (Category D or D1 is desirable but not essential) Good understanding of health and safety practices within a workshop environment Self-motivated and organised, with a methodical approach to fault-finding and repairs Able to work independently and communicate clearly with the wider team What Youll Get Base salary of 34,476 Regular overtime opportunities paid at time-and-a-half Option to take overtime as time off in lieu Fixed daytime hours no night shifts or long-distance work Ongoing training on specialist tools and equipment A stable, supportive working environment with room to grow If youre an experienced PSV Technician looking for a reliable local role with great hours and long-term potential, wed love to hear from you.
