This opportunity provides a stepping stone to developing a career in nursing or enabling progression into other careers in the NHS. This advert is for a positions across all sites. The successful candidate must possess: Evidence of functional skills level 2 in English and Maths/ GCSE Grade 4-9 or equivalent or ENIC evidence Evidence of a full Level 3 qualification or above Evidence of completion of the care certificate Recent study at Level 3 or above Evidence of eligibility to access apprenticeship funding If you are not in possession of the above criteria, please do not apply. These are the entry requirements for the University and we are unable to shortlist you. You will be required to present evidence of your qualifications prior to interview You will need to be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week and cover the range of shifts. Interviews for this opportunity will take place on 14th July for the University of Chichester and 24th July for the University of Brighton. Main duties of the job This is a developmental role. You will work towards becoming a Nursing Associate, which includes the attainment of a level 5 Foundation Degree qualification . During the apprenticeship programme you will experience working in alternative settings to gain a wide appreciation of the many health and care environments. You must be flexible and willing to travel for placements and academic teaching outside of the Trust. Please be aware this is a training post, you maybe required to change your base ward to complete this apprenticeship. At the end of the programme, you will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to employment as an NMC Registered Nursing Associate. Person specification Qualifications and Experience Functional skills level 2 in English and Maths/ GCSE Grade 4-9 or above/ENIC comparability and be able to present certificates prior to interview.
