Job summaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic cardiologist with an interest in Acute Heart Failure working across the Trust including the soon to open Community Diagnostic Centre(CDC). This post will support the existing team of interventional and non interventional cardiologists which at present delivers an elective and urgent service including 24/7 Primary PCI. There would be a commitment to a 1:6 weekend general cardiology on call which would include coronary care ward rounds, cardiology ward reviews and hospital referrals.The post has no commitment to Acute General Medicine but does involve participation in a 1:9 Consultant Cardiologist of the week rotaThe post joins a dynamic team of cardiologists in delivering secondary Cardiology services for the North Cumbrian population.
