Machine Shop Team Leader (CNC)Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.Brighouse Area6-2 / 2-10PERMANENTOur client, a large manufacturing business has an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Machine Shop Team Leader to join their team.Key Responsibilities:As Machine Shop Team Leader you will be expected to lead, encourage and motivate team members in accordance with the relevant specifications, procedures and quality standards related to their roles.To provide leadership and supervision for the team members; supporting staff development through training, mentoring and regular one to one meetings and appraisals to achieve and maintain high performance and compliance to relevant standards.To ensure high quality standards are reinforced and maintained. To manufacture product to meet customer delivery dates in a timely manner.Skills/Experience:Exposure to Lean manufacturing experience, ideally yellow Belt, or above.Working within a NEBOSH, COSHH or IOSH environmentExperience of 5S or 6S processesAbility to investigate non-conformance and assist in root cause analysisExperience of leading and managing people.Resilient and the ability to work in a high-pressure work environmentAbility to communicate effectively across a diverse group of people.Highly motivated with a focus on solutions.Minimum of apprentice training City Guilds, NVQ Level 4 or time served in a directly related disciplineILM or NVQ 4 in managing people (or working towards) or equivalent experienceIOSH Managing SafelyYou will have experience of setting and operating FANUC controlled CNC Machinery.This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating shift pattern.Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 11:30 FridayWeek 2 - 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 11:30am - 5pm Friday.The successful candidates can expect a base salary of 37,500 plus 15% shift allowance.
