This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference and who is ready to take on more responsibility in their next role.The Role As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting colleagues, and ensuring high-quality care is consistently delivered to each young person in the home. You will take an active role in safeguarding, mentoring junior staff, and supporting young peoples development through care planning, education, and therapeutic activities.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage care shifts, ensuring routines are followed and young people are safe, engaged, and supported.Oversee implementation of individual Placement Plans and contribute to their ongoing review.Promote educational engagement and ensure consistent school attendance.Supervise designated team members, offering regular 1:1 supervision and feedback.Support new staff through training and development, monitoring induction progress and identifying training needs.Ensure staff follow risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and policies at all times.Maintain accurate records and complete incident reports promptly and professionally.Communicate effectively with the management team around any concerns or developments.Uphold confidentiality and promote a positive and professional working culture.Requirements A minimum of 2 years experience working in Residential Childcare (essential).Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (essential).Hold a full UK driving licence (essential).Confident leading a shift and supervising staff, with the ability to mentor others and lead by example.Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and working within regulatory frameworks.Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required.Benefits Hourly rate of 14.98 plus additional bonusesLoyalty, performance and annual bonusesFree parking and on-site facilitiesCompany events and team-building activitiesCompany pension schemeAccess to a gym membershipReferral programmeLanguage training providedTPBN1_UKTJ
