The Culture Partner is responsible for enhancing this further through the management, execution and reporting of strategic initiatives that are focused on Aspens culture, values, employee engagement and inclusion activities.The Culture Partner role will support the development and embedding of a positive, engaging, inclusive and high performing culture at Aspen, underpinned by our values and supporting our business strategy and ongoing success.This role will work in close collaboration with a range of other internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Internally, this will include functions including Communications, HR, and Legal; employee-led groups (including Inclusion Networks and CSR Committees); governance and leadership groups (including Aspens Inclusion Board; UK and Group Executive Committees); and external groups including regulators and others (including Lloyds). However, in order to deliver effectively the post holder will build strong relationships with colleagues at every level across the business.Key activities include:Executing Aspens culture strategy and plan under the oversight of Aspens Inclusion BoardDelivering an all-employee engagement survey every 12-18 months in collaboration with a specialist engagement software supplier. Identifying and reporting on relevant insights and working closely with business leaders and teams to drive through the resulting outputs, action plans and strategic programmes that generate year-on-year improvement.Supporting and championing Aspens Inclusion NetworksManaging all inclusion and culture related reporting including to Lloyds and other external bodies as appropriatePreparing reports and board papers for Aspens Inclusion Board, Executive Committee and BoardsBeing Aspens subject matter expert in inclusion, providing guidance on best practice while role modelling Aspens values and behaviours that define the culture we want to have at Aspen.Working in collaboration with the Communications team to devise and execute an employee communications plan that drives greater engagement and inclusion.Working in collaboration with other functions, develop and drive activities to support and maintain Aspens values-driven cultureSupport/lead on the ongoing development and roll out of Aspens internal and external Employee Value PropositionOur Aspen Values are expected to be reflected in the delivery and performance of every role.Key AccountabilitiesProvide expert coaching and consulting to drive measurable results in culture, engagement, and inclusionPartner with segment heads, function heads, and HR colleagues to integrate culture into business practices and support a compelling Employee Value PropositionCollaborate with HR and Marketing to enhance Aspen's reputation as an employer of choice and strengthen external brand and talent attractionExecute employee engagement surveys, manage culture-driven initiatives, and ensure alignment between Aspen's culture and business strategies to drive business performance and employee engagementDefine, report, and monitor inclusion metrics to ensure sustained progress and leadership accountabilityEnsure employee engagement, culture, and inclusion are embedded in Aspen's policies and proceduresProvide best practice guidance on inclusion, culture, and engagement practices, including regulatory and legislative reportingAs a senior technical expert, provide advice and guidance to colleagues, make decisions, and promote understanding of functional needs and standardsDevelop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align activities with business strategy and support Aspen's Inclusion NetworksNetwork with colleagues across the organization to share best practices and drive relevant activities, while engaging with external peers to enhance personal contribution to functional and organizational performanceRepresent the function by providing support and technical input to project teams and other areas of Aspen, ensuring solutions consider functional needsApply technical expertise and make decisions within authority limits to support business objectives, manage information production to meet external obligations, and provide support to the functional leadership teamInitiate, investigate, and respond to complaints and queries in line with regulatory requirements, assist in future business planning to respond to risks and opportunities, and continually develop subject matter expertise and technical knowledgeKnowledge, Skills, & ExperiencePost-qualification work experience in a functional environment providing specialised / complex support to an international businessExperience resolving complex queriesPossess established customer/supplier/regulatory relationships that are relevant to rolePossesses deep understanding of employee engagement, culture, and inclusion best practicesHolds technical expertise and knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, including FCA/Lloyds regulationExperience providing thought leadership in culture, inclusion, and engagement, and navigates the complexities of an international business with diverse internal and external demandsStrong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills at every level, with effective negotiation and influencing abilitiesExperience identifying practical deliverables to drive strategic outcomes, managing budgets and plans, and balancing long-term views with immediate realitiesProficient in using relevant technology applications and systems, with attention to detail and the ability to navigate detailed reports and summarize key informationInnovative in developing new ideas, capable of independently investigating and tracing data issues, and managing projects and conflicting prioritiesStrong organizational and planning skills, numerate with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesEffective collaborator within a team environment across the groupAt Aspen we know that having a diverse and inclusive workforce is good for our people, good for our business and good for the environments in which we operate.
