If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.Role:Were looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead and define a robust application integration strategy for a major HR transformation programme. This pivotal part-time role spans 87 days over 5 months.You will be responsible for enabling seamless integration across a newly implemented HR Information System and its dependent systems. The role combines technical depth, architecture leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a scalable and future-ready integration framework.As a Solution Architect, you will:Define and lead the overall integration architecture and strategyCollaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to shape integration requirements into viable architectural designsDevelop high- and low-level integration designs in partnership with system vendorsEstablish and promote integration standards, governance models, and lifecycle management practicesRecommend and select appropriate technologies (e.g., API-based integrations, iPaaS platforms) aligned to cloud and hybrid environmentsEnsure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and performance benchmarksOversee test builds, environments, and validations in collaboration with project and testing teamsManage support arrangements to ensure smooth operation of integration componentsGuide user acceptance testing for end-to-end integration scenariosQualifications:Proven experience leading integration architecture for complex enterprise systemsFamiliarity with HR or workforce management systems is a strong plusExpertise in API-led integrations, cloud platforms, and hybrid infrastructure modelsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong grasp of governance, compliance, and architecture best practicesAbility to work effectively within a part-time, time-boxed engagementAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong relationship building skills, necessary to working in a complex multi-vendor environmentWhats in it for you?An opportunity to join a high-growth, scale-up consulting firm; we see an opportunity to make a material difference to how clients are served, and are on a mission to create environments that thrive for our clients.A dedicated focus on your individual personal development: managed through annual performance appraisals, individual personal development plans, and our bi-weekly continuous conversations programme.Additional professional development is available through a personal training budget (subject to approval of a relevant business case)A competitive day rate of 600per day Outside IR35.Availability to start immediately is strongly preferred.Your Pace team:Harnessing Human Autonomy is putting the needs of humans above all in process and system design.We are a consultancy that helps organisations become aware of the human needs and behaviours within their operations, so that systems and processes can be designed and implemented to match.
