Locum consultant In Elderly Care MedicineWe are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Geriatricians to join our existing team of six dedicated consultant colleagues. Candidates interested in a clinical lead role are encouraged to apply.Main duties of the jobPost 1:The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical leadership to our award winning, Virtual Frailty Team as well as delivering an early CGA in ED for acute geriatric admissions. This will rotate with cover for an acute inpatient ward (max 13 beds).Post 2:The successful candidate will rotate between an acute inpatient ward (max 13 beds) and the Front Door Frailty Team based in ED delivering CGA with a view to avoid unnecessary admissions and re presentation to hospital in frail older adults.Both posts will be expected to contribute to the General Internal Medicine on call rota (acute unselected medical take covering all ages) with a frequency of 1:12 (B supplement).
